Northland College Winds to perform concert

The Northland College Winds will perform “Music’s Connections,” a concert of British and American music, on Tuesday, October 27. The event will be held in the Alvord Theatre in the Ponzio Campus Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. and will be open to the public free of charge. The performance is sponsored by the Music Department at Northland College.

The program will include selections by Carter, Elgar, Compello, Vaughan-Williams, and Hazo. It will also feature brief remarks by the conductor about the unique connections between the pieces of music. The performance will be directed by Joel Glickman, professor of music at Northland College.
