Northland College encourages families to save for college with Tuition Rewards
February 9, 2011
Students attending Northland College have a new way to pay for their education. The College recently joined more than 250 independent colleges around the country in partnering with SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards, a savings program designed for private colleges.
“The Tuition Rewards Program fills some gaps that admissions departments have long struggled with,” says Lee Johnson, interim director of admissions at the College. “It’s important for families to save for education, and using the Tuition Rewards program, they will be rewarded for doing so.”
Families registered with Tuition Rewards earn points by saving with a variety of financial partners, including the Wisconsin state 529 college savings programs, The College Tuition Benefit, banks, credit unions and national marketing organizations. When registered students attend a participating private college like Northland, the family’s accumulated Tuition Reward Points are redeemed as a scholarship.
