RSSNorthland College alumna named to New York Times Bestseller List

Northland College alumna Andrea Cremer is the author of a young-adult fantasy novel that will be included on the New York Times Bestseller List. Her new book, Nightshade, traces the life of Calla, a driven and intensely loyal leader of a wolf pack in the Colorado wilderness. The book will be included on the New York Times Children’s Best Sellers list to be released on November 14.
Originally from Ashland, Wisc., Cremer graduated from Northland College in 2000 with a degree in history and a minor in English. Nightshade is her first novel, and the first in a series of young-adult fantasy books. Cremer lives in St. Paul, Minn., where she is an Associate Professor of History at Macalester College.
