Northland College hosts Constitution and Citizenship Day panel presentation

Northland College invites members of the Chequamegon Bay community to a panel presentation on the First Amendment on Thursday, Sept. 16. The presentation is in recognition of Constitution and Citizenship Day, which has been observed in the United States each September since 2004. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Sentry Room of the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute, and will include a question and answer session followed by light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.

• Claire Duquette, editor of The Daily Press

• Darrel Robertson, pastor of the Presbyterian-Congregational Church in Ashland

• Ellen Pennell, assistant professor of education at Northland College

• Brandon Hofstedt, assistant professor of sustainable community development at Northland College
