Scratch Track - A night of "mind-bending, style-bending and undeniably original" music and discussion
Join us for an evening of music, diversity, discussion, and unique performance. Scratch Track will start the night with a spectacular presentation titled "Racism in Music", in which they will talk about how society's views racism in popular music and the walls that limit music based upon formulated restrictions we have placed on music.
Following the presentation, Scratch Track will deliver a high energy, one of a kind performance that blends acoustic guitar based Beat Boxing/Alternative/Hip Hop that has been described as "mind-bending, style-bending and undeniably original" by a New York University Reporter.
They've had a supporting role with O.A.R., plus prominent opening slots for the boundary breaking likes of The Roots, The Zac Brown Band, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Jars of Clay, Los Lonely Boys, Erykah Badu, Jurassic 5, Living Colour, Twista, Rehab, Will Hoge, Soulive, DJ Skribble and members of Goodie Mob (to name but a few).
