Name: Scott Wold
Area of Study: Environmental Studies degree, with a minor in Philosophy
Graduation Date: 2009
Hometown: Minnetonka, MN
Currently: Law Student at Vermont Law School
Scott spent much of his college career involved with the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute (SOEI). He spent three years working for SOEI, eventually becoming an intern there. Scott was also elected president of the Northland College Student Association, and interned on the North Country Trail. Scott is now pursuing a graduate’s degree in environmental law at the Vermont Law School.
Scott urges students to “enjoy your time here, take advantage of things when they come your way but do not rush anything. Most important you are not here just to read and go to class, explore the area, spend as much if not more time in the woods than in the classroom and go sit by the big lake as often as possible.”
