Name: Sarah Bhimani
Area of Study: Writing
Graduation Date: 2009
Hometown: Corcoran, MN
Currently: Peace Corps Volunteer
At Northland, Sarah was involved with Art League, gained experience with animal care through veterinary ride-alongs, and fueled her passion for Organic livestock and agriculture at the Midwest Organic and Sustainable Education Service conference. Sarah also spent a semester studying in Scotland. She interned at Fortin Consulting, 50 Entertainment, and Great Oak Farm. All these experiences led her to join the Peace Corps, which she expects will take her to Africa.
Her advice to prospective students? “Don't think about making a plan for after graduation, you'll just add unnecessary stress to your life. Just look around for things that interest you in a place that interests you. If you end up living with your parents for awhile after graduation, or sticking around Ashland, that's okay!”
