Being different is nothing new to Northland College.  Long before “green” and “global climate change” became part of our national conversation, Northland was building its national reputation as a leader in environmental and sustainability issues.

Passionate teaching is at the heart of a Northland education. Students and faculty have been addressing the science and politics of the human-nature relationship in practical and imaginative ways long before most others thought it important or relevant.
