Northland's staff and faculty are busy putting together service projects, educational presentations and more. See below for a list of upcoming public events and presentations!
May 2013
- May 15-17 Rick Dowd will present a poster with three Northland students titled: "Cigarette Eco-Toxicity in Vernal Ponds", at the American Chemical Society Regional meeting in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
- May 27-31 Derek Ogle will attend a class titled: Introduction to linear mixed effects model and GLMM with R course, in Bannf, CA.
- May 28-June 1 Cynthia Belmont will attend the 10th Biennial Conference of the Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment (ASLE), at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. She will present her paper titled: Travels in “Queernaturecultures”: An Ecofeminist Reading of Boys Don’t Cry and By Hook or By Crook.
- Clayton Russell has had a review published for David Orr’s Hope is an Imperative in the Natural Areas Journal, Volume 33, Number 2, April 2013.
