Beginning Friday the 11th at 5 p.m. and going through Sunday until 11:30 p.m. @ Alvord Theatre, Northland College
Come experience an array of folk style music from country to bluegrass to blues at our 3 day festival open to all ages and family friendly put on by the Northland College Student Association. We'll kick the weekend off with a called dance (often referred to as our First Friday Dance) with the Omega 3's followed by some down to earth folks, Evan & Friends playing round a campfire and ending with a boot-stomping performance by Jack Klatt and the Cat Swingers. Stturday we will have workshop tought by the artists on a variety of topics from 12-3pm followed by musical perfomances by some Northland Alum's including Julie Patchuli and Bentley Brehm, as well as Charlie Parr and ending with Two Many Banjos. Sunday we'll start the day with some open mic followed by Folk afficionado Bucky Halker, upbeat and family friendly Andy Noyes and Stevie Matier, soem fun artists from the cities and to top the evening off we'll be grooving with the Hobo Nephews of Uncle !
