Campus Visits

If you haven't visited Northland College now is your chance. Come see why now, more than ever, Northland is the college of choice for a generation of students that are interested in real world implications-both in and outside of the classroom.

Visit Days will give you the perfect opportunity to learn about Northland first hand. Tour campus, sit in on a class, meet students and throughout the day, you will attend sessions on Admission to the College, Financial Aid, and Student Life & Academics.

We can tell you about our campus and our exceptional students, but there's nothing like seeing Northland for yourself. Schedule a visit today.

Individual Visits

We are a distinctive learning/living environment. We only have 700 students so all of your professors will know you by name. Located in Ashland, Wisconsin, we are nestled among nearly a million acres of national forest and less than a mile from Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in North America. When we say you will study nature, we mean you will be immersed in it.

In the classroom we explore contemporary issues to prepare for tomorrow's solutions. Sometimes words aren't enough to describe an experience. Come visit Northland College and experience the difference.

We want you to see Northland College for yourself and we'd like to help pay for the trip. If you visit the campus during your senior year of high school, you will receive a $500 Visit Grant on your Fall Financial Aid package when you enroll at Northland College. What do you have to lose?

Visits are arranged Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. by appointment only.

Every visit will include a tour of campus with a student guide and an interview with an Admission Counselor. In addition you can also choose from the following options if available:

  • Talk with a professor
  • Attend a class
  • Enjoy a meal in the Ponzio Campus Center
  • Stay overnight with a student host in the residence hall (students only)
  • Meet with a coach

To arrange a visit, please fill out the online form or contact us about a week in advance so we can arrange the most complete visit.
