Profile
Northland College is a teaching institution with a caring, dedicated faculty that promote learning in a variety of ways. I appreciate our small size, and our northwoods location along Lake Superior. I was drawn to my field by my love of the beauty and variety of landscapes and wanted to learn the genesis of them which led me to travel throughout the continent. I am also very interested in volcanology and have travelled many times to Hawaii. I am particularly interested in the hydrology of local streams and the geologic history of northern Wisconsin. Fishing, gardening, cycling, and snowmobiling are among my other interests.
