USDA Plants Database is a searchable database containing plant morphology, physiology, growth requirement, and classification information for plants as well as plant fact sheets and references.

Wisconsin State Herbarium, University of Wisconsin–Madison
 
offers a searchable database of plants by scientific name, common name, habitat type, or family. In addition, most records include physical plant characteristics, photos, and habitat information.

Common Plants of Wisconsin by University of Wisconsin-Steven's Point includes an interactive identification guide for over 200 species of forbs, trees, shrubs and ferns.

Wisconsin Plant of the Week developed by a Wisconsin DNR employee features a different plant each week with excellent photos as well as a detailed life history of the plant.

Weed Science Society of America Photo Herbarium includes photos of over 200 common American herbs, plants and weeds listed alphabetically by common name.

T.E.A.C.H Great Lakes is a partner of the GLIN network that provides information on native flora in the Great Lakes region.

Celebrating Wildflowers is an interative website dedicated to the enjoyment of wildflowers and educating the public about native plants.  The site is sponsored by the USDA Forest Service.
