Celebrate Loon Appreciation Week May 6-12, 2007 by planning a loon program at your local nature or educational center. 

LoonWatch can help you design a loon program to be conducted by your staff or we may have a volunteer speaker available who can lead the program. 

Planning Your Loon Appreciation Week Event

1) Contact LoonWatch for ideas on how to design a custom loon program for your location and audience. 
2) LoonWatch can provide you with everything you need to lead a loon program (see list of program package materials below). 
3) Notify LoonWatch about your event and we will post it on our website and in other promotional materials.

The Loon Appreciation Week Program Package includes:

• a PowerPoint loon program and script (on CD)
• educational fact sheets about loons
• loon Wisconsin Wildcards (like a trading card containing loon facts)
• a 2007 Loon Appreciation Week poster
• other optional loon education materials
