The Advisory Council advises the LoonWatch Coordinator on programmatic strategy and tactics and evaluates loon photo entries for the Loon Appreciation Week Poster Contest and loon research proposals for the Sigurd T. Olson Loon Research Award. The Advisory Council meets three times annually and members may join either the Research Committee or the Education Committee.
