Transfer students need to submit the following to be considered for admission:

• Application for Admission – All students are encouraged to apply on-line. To thank you for your support in helping us save natural resources, there will be no application fee for online applications. You can also apply with the Common Application for free, or file a paper copy with a $25 application fee. Northland College is on rolling admission which means that we will accept and review applications on a rolling basis as they are received up until the start of term. However, students are encouraged to begin their application process as soon as possible to ensure their ability to start in their desired term.
• Official college transcripts from all institutions that you have attended.
• Official high school transcripts or official GED report - (Federal law requires that we have your high school transcripts on file before you can enroll. If you have earned a prior degree, associate's or higher, you may be exempt from submitting high school transcripts.)
• ACT or SAT scores if you have taken the exam.
• Letter of recommendation from a professor, guidance counselor or someone who knows you well.
• Northland considers a variety of factors when reviewing applicants. Transfer students need to have at least a 2.5 GPA to be considered for admission. Perhaps the most important factor is your performance in courses at accredited colleges you previously attended.
