As a service to returning students, the Student Development Office offers scheduled rides to and from the Duluth Airport for the beginning and end of school and for several break times.
We contract with a regional bus company to offer reliable and safe travel. Students sign up in advance for each ride. Each trip costs $10, payable to Northland College.
Please note: Rides do not happen unless students have signed up for one. If no one has signed up for a particular ride, that pick up or drop off will not happen. Contact Lisa McGinley at 715-682-1825, Ponzio Campus Center room 203, to sign up for a ride.
We also encourage students and parents to make backup plans in case of a delayed or cancelled flight, if weather impedes travel, or any other number of reasons. The Student Development Office provides information to students who may get stranded in Duluth, including places to stay and alternative travel. Learning how to travel and taking responsibility for oneself is part of a well-rounded college experience!
