Some students choose to bring their own computers from home. This is a good option for anyone who wants to work during hours when a computer lab is not available. Be sure to check our recommended system requirements for the Northland College network. Keep in mind that computer lab hours are extremely flexible and we have many workstations across the campus for your use. In brief, having your own may be attractive but it is definitely not a necessity.
All Residence halls are wired for accessing the campus network from your room. Residence hall internet connection fees are built in to your housing fee. For more information about computing on the Northland College network check out the Information Technology Computing web page. Note that both Macintosh and IBM compatible personal computers can be hooked up.
