Meet Our Staff

Matt Weber - Alumni Director

As the Alumni Director, I work with alumni and friends of the College to build and reinforce the connections they have made with Northland throughout the years. The annual Summer Reunion, Northland’s Homecoming, and special alumni gatherings as well as working with the Alumni Association are some of the highlights of my position. If you have questions, would like to get together with classmates or would like to talk about the Alumni Association, please call me at (715) 682-1497, or e-mail me at mweber@northland.edu. I look forward to hearing from you!

Gail Reed - Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving

I work with a team that helps ensure that Northland College will have the financial resources to respond to the increasing demand of a growing liberal arts College. My goal is to encourage alumni, parents, and friends to make major gifts in support of Northland College. I work to strengthen, deepen, and expand relationships with donors and potential donors. My job involves helping dreams come true. Many of us want to make charitable gifts to organizations and institutions that are important parts of our lives. I enjoy assisting individuals and couples
in finding ways to make gifts that make sense for them. I look forward to assisting you in planning gifts and bequests that will benefit students, the College and our future. Please let me know how I may help you by calling (715) 682-1846, or email me at glreed@northland.edu.

Claudia Broman - Annual Fund Manager

My goal as annual fund manager is to raise about $1 million in scholarships and unrestricted gifts for Northland College. It’s a big goal, and one that would be unattainable without the help of the colleagues, friends, alumni, current students, and other supporters who are the college’s foundation. For about three years before coming to Institutional Advancement I managed public relations at Northland’s Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute. When I’m not working, you’re most likely to find me gardening, knitting, cooking, cross-country skiing, or playing the guitar. If you are interested in learning more about the annual fund, or sharing a secret recipe, please call (715) 682-1678, or send an e-mail to me at cbroman@northland.edu. I look forward to speaking with you!
