CLEP Registration

At this time there are no scheduled CLEP exams for the Northland Campus. Please check back to this site for the next available test date.

About the CLEP test:
All tests are computer based. Results are achieved immediately upon completion of the test, with the exception of the English Composition with Essay exam. A raw score of 50 is needed to successfully pass a CLEP exam. At Northland there is the additional requirement that to earn credit for ENG111 a minimum of 60 is required on the English Composition with Essay exam. 

If successful, your work will be transcripted as successful completion of (insert subject) CLEP exam. If unsuccessful, no notation is made on your transcript. Northland's current policy reflects successful CLEP results are equivalent to one semester of college work only.

Students who are unsuccessful in earning a passing score may re-take the same CLEP exam, however CLEP requires a six month waiting period before doing so.
