Making connections involves building relationships and taking action. You might join a club or organization, attend an event during Black History month, or volunteer your time with the Animal Shelter, to name a few options. When you choose to express your interests and values through involvement, you not only gain experience but you can use it as a springboard to make the change you wish to see in the world. Use the opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom to explore what it means to be an engaged, global citizen.
