December 10The "Spotlight Player" this week is Lindsey Hamm. The sophomore guard from Ontonagon, MI had a great week for the LumberJills last week after a slow start to the season.In a 66-54 win at North Central University on December 4th, Hamm poured in a game-high 25 points on 8-13 shooting and was 4-7 from three-point range. Coming into the game, Hamm had struggled a bit from the field compared to last year, but got it all together against North Central.On December 8th against the College of St. Scholastica, she led the LumberJills to a 72-68 win with her first career double double. She had 19 points on 7-13 shooting, ten rebounds and dished out five assists.For the week, Hamm was also named the UMAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week. A First Team All-Conference selection last year, Hamm is averaging 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game; both second on the team. With her two stellar games, she is now shooting 43.3% and 38.2% from three-point range.
