William Penn University scored in four of the six innings and limited Northland College to just three hits in a 8-0 win in the final game of the Tucson Invitational in Tucson, AZ.

The LumberJills only mustered a leadoff single from Tiffany Datko in the first, an Amanda Seely single in the third and Becky Walters' fourth inning single off Statesman starter Ashley Johnson.

William Penn scored single runs in the first and fourth innings.  They blew open the game with a four-run fifth and ended the game with two runs in the sixth.  Johnson did not allow a runner to reach second as she struck out six and did not walk a batter.  Overall, she faced just two batters over minimum.
