Game 1 Box Score

Emily Jensen hit a one-out game-winning two-run in the bottom of the seventh as Concordia-Moorhead rallied for three runs in the final inning to stun Northland 4-2.

The Cobbers took an early 1-0 in the first on an RBI-double by Shantelle Nogowski.  The LumberJills finally broke through against Jill Reinert in the sixth.  Katie Zaben (Frankfort, IL) walked to lead-off the inning.  After a Becky Walters (Porterfield, WI) single, Bobi Jo Wolf (Marquette, MI) doubled to left-center to bring home Zaben and advance Walters to third.  After a popout, Theresa Pufall (Ashland, WI) singled home Walters and give Northland a 2-1 lead.

In the seventh, Amanda Michaelson led-off with a single for the Cobbers and then was sacrificed to second by Reinert.  Kelli Niess then tied the score with a double to left-center to score Michaelson.  Jensen won it with her second walk-off homerun in just over a week.

Game 2 Box Score

Jill Reinert outdueled Brittany Schmitt as Concordia-Moorhead completed a doubleheader sweep with a 2-0 win over Northland.

Reinert pitched both games for the Cobbers and limited the LumberJills to just three hits in game two, while striking out nine.

Schmitt could not get any run support and kept the Jill's in it by holding Concordia-Moorhead to just five hits and the two runs.

The Cobbers scored a single run in both the first and second innings.  Kelli Niess went 3-3 for the victors with a run and an RBI.
