Aurora Albrecht and Karen Harnisch each collected four hits to lead a 17-hit Northland College attack as the Jills easily beat Crown College 20-2 at the UMAC Crossover in Duluth, MN.

The LumberJills have now won 12 out their last 13 to move to 15-13 overall and remained in first place in the Upper MIdwest Athletic Conference with a 12-1 mark.  The Purple Storm dropped to 3-13 and 1-9 in the UMAC.

Trailing 1-0 and one out in the first, Albrecht doubled and scored on Harnisch's run-scoring single.  Crown added another run in the before the Jills exploded for seven runs on five hits in the bottom half of the second.

After Alex Potter was hit by a pitch and Amanda Seely doubled, Albrecht plated both runs with a single to give Northland a 3-2 lead.  A Harnisch RBI single, a two-run double by Becky Walters and then a RBI double by Stephanie Langfeldt made it 7-2.  Langfeldt capped the inning as she scored on a Crown error.

In the third, Harnisch came up with runners on second and third and plated both with a double to stretch the LumberJills lead to 10-2.

Not to be outdone by their second inning output, Northland sent 14 batters to plate to score ten runs on six hits.  Tiffany Datko started the scoring with a sacrifice fly to right and then Albrecht followed with a double to score Seely and Margaret Koosmann.  A Harnisch run-single and a RBI groundout by Katie Johnson made it 15-2.  Theresa Pufall added a RBI single with Seely and Datko each hitting two-run doubles to cap the inning.

Albrecht, with her four hits, drove in four and scored four more.  Harnisch had five runs batted in, while Walters, Langfeldt and Seely each chipped in with two hits apiece.
