February 16Senior Sara Domek flew over the 5K course at Giants Ridge to finish in 17th place for the CCSA Freestyle race this Saturday. Continuing her upward climb, Domek once again showed solid improvement with a time of 17:22. Also competing for Northland was freshman Cassie Bodette who finished 53rd with a time of 20:58. The women finish the CCSA region meet on Sunday with a 10K classic race. Aurelia Korthauer of the University of Alaska-Fairbanks won the race with a time of 15:55.
