Sophomore Christopher Goscinak had by far his best classic race ever this past Sunday at the CCSA region meet finishing 61st in the 15K classic race with a time of 58:31. Goscinak was followed by freshman Nate Leurquin who competed in his first ever classic race. Leurquin finshed 63rd with a time of 1:16:28. Phil Violett of Northern Michigan University won the race with a time of 43:36.Gosicnak, Leurquin, and freshman Kevin Robertson had very successful seasons with each improving as the season progressed. Gosciank improved his freestyle point total by 87.4 points and his classic by 148.3 points.Leurquin improved his freestyle point total by 40.3 points and Robertson improved his freestyle point total by 178.8 points.
