Freshman Ben Blair and Sophomore Bryce Henry once again led the LumberJack XC team this past Saturday posting personal best times at the Northland College Invitational. "I am very excited about what Ben and Bryce did out there today," stated head coach Dave Beeksma. "This is not an easy course and they both dropped their times by about a minute." Following Blair (29:20) and Henry (29:55) were first year runner Max Metz (32:01), Sophomore Chris Goscinak (32:54), first time runner David Lardinois (33:37), first time runner Chris Dunham (33:43, and Sophomore Allen Dalke (36:33) to complete the scoring for Northland. Freshman Kevin Robertson was finished the race with a time of 38:45. "Everyone ran well today and we are setting ourselves up for personal best times in two weeks at the conference meet," stated coach Beeksma. The UMAC conference meet will be hosted by St. Scholastica and held at the Far Par Golf course in Duluth. The men run at 1 pm.
