March 5, 2007Box ScoreWilkes University scored all its runs in the first four innings and capitalized on six Northland errors in their 11-2 win to spilt the doubleheader with the LumberJacks in Cocoa Beach, FL.The Colonels scored a single run in the first, three in the second and four in the third to take a commanding 8-0 lead. Northland got on the board in the bottom half of the third. Casey Frantz (Charlotte, MI) singled to left and would score on a Michael Cross (Auburn, WA) double to center. Wilkes answered Northland's run with a four spot in the top of the fourth inning. The LumberJacks scored in the bottom half of the inning after Cody Carroll (Shawano, WI) led-off with a double and scored on Jeremy Snow's (Tucson, AZ) sacrifice fly.Northland (1-1) plays game three of their spring trip against Rochester College tomorrow at 1:00 PM eastern standard time.
