Melanie Schulte came to Northland College in August of 2006, as the Head Athletic Trainer. For two years prior, she was an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN where she worked with the women’s soccer and baseball teams.
Melanie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the College of St. Catherine. While there, she was on the Women’s Ice Hockey Team from 1998-2002. She served as team captain for the 1999-2000, 2000-2001, and 2001-2002 seasons. After completing her Bachelor’s, Melanie went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Outside of her Athletic Training Duties, Melanie will also be teaching the Sports Medicine Class. She currently resides in Ashland.
