The 2nd Annual Kernan, French, Bystrom Golf Event was held on June 4, 2005 at the beautiful Cherokee Country Club in Madison, Wisconsin. Eighty-eight alumni and friends of the College got together to show their support of Northland’s athletic programs.

The winner of this year’s golf event was the Glen Leverson Team. They have won the event for the past two years.

The day started with an excellent picnic lunch before players hit the course. The weather forecast had been for stormy weather but for a brief ten minute shower the weather was great. After the golfing, participants were treated to a superb steak fry and banquet.

Speakers at this year’s event were President Karen Halbersleben and John Allen, chairman of the Board of Trustees. It was a fantastic time for all who were able to be there and next year looks to be even better.
