Faculty Profile: Paul Van Horn

I enjoy the cool, vibrant energy among students and staff at Northland College!

Once I’ve settled in here, I plan to write articles on the use of traditional wilderness living skills in adventure education.

The culture here is very different: eclectic, innovative, and willing to challenge the dominant paradigm.

I was attracted to outdoor education by taking an outdoor survival course at Boulder Outdoor Survival School.

My hobbies and interests include mountain biking, running, and traditional outdoor skills
