Member of the Board of Trustees since 1978. Jeremy C. Shea is retired senior partner of Quarles and Brady LLP of Madison, WI. His areas of legal practice included corporate, real estate and banking.
At the recent trustee reunion, retired President Bob Parsonage said of Jerry: “If anyone was destined to be a Northland College trustee, it was Jeremy Shea. He grew up here on campus.” Jerry’s father, Mike Shea, taught journalism at Northland from 1952 to 1966, and his mother, Martha Shea, served as Northland Dean of Women. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in English, Jerry went on to earn his J.D. from University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1961, a Master of Law from Harvard in 1963, and then settled in Madison to practice
Jerry was awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Northland College Alumni Association in 2002. He currently serves the Board as a member of the Academic Affairs and Business Affairs Committees.
