William P. Rogers, Superior, WI Owner, DeWit Seitz Marketplace
Member of the Board of Trustees since 1998. William P. Rogers is owner and landlord of DeWitt Seitz Marketplace, a landmark building dating from 1909 in Canal Park in Duluth. Bill serves as chair of the Superior-Douglas County YMCA Foundation. He is treasurer of Brule River Preservation, Inc., and a long-time supporter of the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute.
Bill is president of the Four Cedars Foundation. The Environmental Fund of the Four Cedars Foundation provides financial incentives that initiate, stimulate, enrich and assist programs and organizations involved in the protection, preservation and education of the unique natural resources found primarily within the Western Lake Superior Watershed. The Four Cedars Foundation worked with the Friends of the Brule River & Forest and the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute to enable Northland students to research, write and publish a brief history of the Brule, “Pines & Paddlers.”Bill chairs the Building & Grounds Committee, and serves on the Executive, Audit and Business Affairs committees of the Board.
