Member of the Board of Trustees since 2005. Thomas Rhoades retired from Ford Motor Company after a 32 year career in public relations, notably as Director of Public and Business Affairs for the Northeast, headquartered in New York City. Since leaving Ford, Tom has launched his own consulting firm, TR/3 Communications, LLC. In New York City, Tom was public relations advisor to Ensemble Studio Theater, and the Photographic Studio of Harlem, among other non-profit organizations. In Arizona, he is a board member of the Arts & Business Council of greater Phoenix.
Tom was a two term member of the Northland Alumni Board, and acted as Public Relations Chair in Northland’s Second Century Campaign. Tom was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1999.
Tom serves on the Business Affairs and Enrollment & Marketing committees.
