Nancy Jones, St. Paul, MNAttorney
Member of the Board of Trustees since 1995. Nancy Platt Jones is a lawyer who also holds an M.B.A., and has focused her professional work in the area of employee benefits, most recently with Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Nancy has long ties to the College through her family, and their Madeline Island connection. Nancy and her husband Bill have built, by hand and hammer and sweat, their own cabin on the Island.In addition to her volunteer commitments to Northland, Nancy is a member of the Board of Wingspan Life Resources, and the Treasurer of the Weavers Guild of Minnesota. Nancy has served as chair of the Academic Affairs and Audit Committees, and now chairs the Business Affairs Committee of the Board. She is a member of the Executive, Academic Affairs, Investment, Audit and Trusteeship committees, as well.
